Camerata de Puerto Vallarta: A New Cultural Heartbeat in Our City

Puerto Vallarta is not only about golden sunsets, the ocean breeze, and blooming bougainvilleas—it is also a place where music flourishes, keeping alive the richness of our roots. This September marks the birth of the Camerata de Puerto Vallarta by OEPV, an ensemble formed by students, alumni, and mentors of the Puerto Vallarta Youth Orchestra School. Its purpose is to continue nurturing local talent and establish itself as a cultural beacon in the city.

The ensemble’s debut concert, “Estampas de México,” will take place on Thursday, September 18 at the Niños Héroes Auditorium. This event will be the beginning of a new tradition: every third Thursday of the month, the Camerata will present concerts featuring extraordinary programs, creating a permanent space for both locals and visitors to enjoy the beauty of Mexican music.

At Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel & Mexican Charm, we proudly celebrate this milestone in our destination’s cultural journey. Just as our hacienda embodies Mexican tradition and warm hospitality, we believe that traveling is also about embracing authentic experiences. Guests staying with us will not only enjoy rest and the charm of our colonial-style spaces but also have the opportunity to witness the vibrant artistic soul of Puerto Vallarta.

Just like the arches, fountains, and flavors of traditional cuisine in our hacienda connect travelers with the history of Mexico, the Camerata de Puerto Vallarta connects audiences with the musical heart of our land. An experience where tradition, pride, and talent come together.
