HEAT, Jalisco Style: Latin Music Dresses Up in Tradition

Puerto Vallarta Hosts the 2026 HEAT Awards with Full Jalisco Pride

Jalisco is the land of mariachi, tequila, and songs sung straight from the heart. That’s why it makes perfect sense that the first Mexican edition of the HEAT Latin Music Awards is named HEAT al Estilo Jalisco (HEAT, Jalisco Style). From October 31 to November 5, 2026, HEAT Week fills Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta with music, wrapping up with a grand gala by the Pacific.

A Latin American Awards Show with a Jalisco Soul

After more than ten years taking place in different Latin American countries, the HEAT Awards chose Mexico for their 2026 edition. The event is organized together with the Government of Jalisco, the Jalisco State Entertainment Agency, and the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta, and offers a lineup that blends entertainment, music, and elements of the state’s cultural identity.

The main night will be Thursday, November 5, at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center, streamed live on LosHeat.tv.

Regional Mexican Music Takes Center Stage

One of this year’s biggest additions is the Best Regional Mexican Artist category, debuting among a total of 30 categories. The gala will also pay tribute to artists who are part of the musical memory of Mexico and Latin America: Banda MS, Los Ángeles Azules, Don René Camacho, Olga Tañón, and Piso 21.

More than 50 musicians and content creators with a strong presence across the Spanish-speaking world will gather in Vallarta, and more than 300 national and international media outlets will share images of the city across the continent.

Vallarta Proves, Once Again, That It’s Ready

This event joins the series of major happenings Puerto Vallarta has hosted in recent months. Each one confirms, to those of us who live here and to those who visit, that the destination has the infrastructure, the venues, and the warm service to welcome international artists, content creators, and press from around the world, while remaining that charming town of cobblestone streets and Mexican hospitality.

Experience HEAT Week with a Taste of Mexico

If Latin music is your excuse to travel, Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel & Mexican Charm is the place to round out the experience with the best of our culture and cuisine.

Our Recommendations

  • Breakfasts to start the day with energy: the daily buffet at Los Portales is the perfect start to a day full of activities.
  • Sun and sea between events: our shuttle service takes you to a beach just minutes from the hotel.
  • Watch the gala live: follow the stream on LosHeat.tv and celebrate every award the Jalisco way.
